International Yoga Day Celebration on 25st June 2017 (Sunday)

What is yoga?

Yoga  is a group of physical mental, and spiritual practices which was originated in ancient India and being spread and practised across the globe. It includes physical postures and breathing exercises which relieves mental stress/strain and other ailments

When/where one can do yoga?

In the morning time before Sunrise is the best time to perform and riverside is the best place to do yoga.

What are the benefits of doing yoga?

Regular practice of yoga reduces most of the ailments of the body and increases the workplace productivity for sure. It is scientifically proved that children are immensely benefitted from this art in th field of their studies and it also improves their concentration ability.

Many studies have tried to determine the effectiveness of yoga as a complementary intervention for cancer, schizophrenia, asthma, and heart disease, and others suggesting yoga may reduce risk factors and aid in a patient's psychological healing process.

What is International Yoga day?

On 11 December 2014, United Nations declared June 21st as International Yoga Day. This initiative found support from many global leaders. A total of 177 nations co-sponsored the resolution, which is the highest number of co-sponsors ever for any United Nations General Assembly resolution of such nature On December 1, 2016, Yoga was listed as UNESCO’s Intangible cultural heritage. 

Why International Yoga Day

As it has been recognized by United Nations that it is the science and can heal humanity and should be spread across to treat humanity and to make the world a better place to live in.

Who can do Yoga?

Anybody (Children, adult, elderly people) and everybody can do yoga, even pregnant women can do it but the Yoga should be performed under supervision of an expert. It is not related to body type (e.g fat, slim, tall, short) and can be practiced by all.

What we are going to do in Tianjin/ where/ when?

In Tianjin we are going to organize an awareness programme of yoga on 25th June (Sunday) for common people of all Nationalities without any restriction on caste, creed, colour and boundaries. We welcome everyone who are interested in learning about yoga for a healthier/peaceful life and mind.

It is free of cost and will be performed under supervision of Yoga Expert. Moreover Whit T Shirt will be provided to the Participants.

Timing: 

Morning- 6.30 to 7.30 

Evening- 17.30 to 18.30

Dongnan Jio Zhan, Exit D, Jinbu Bridge (Dongnan Road), Riverside, near Bank of Shanghai HaiHe Branch, Nankai Distt. Tianjin

Requirement: 

1. Registration of participant (Confirmation on wechat so that T Shirt could be printed)

2.You need to bring your own Yoga Mat.
